Inside LEGOLAND Episode 3 Review: A Refreshing Change of Pace

Inside LEGOLAND Episode 3 Halloween

As Halloween, and the park’s fireworks spectacular, approaches the team have 48 hours to get everything in place. Here’s our Inside LEGOLAND Episode 3 review.

Inside LEGOLAND Episode 3 Review

Taking a completely different format than the first two introductory episodes to this documentary series our sole focus is on Halloween preparations for the Brick or Treat park celebration.

The park is closed for two days and the 48 hour countdown is on to transform the park ready for Halloween celebrations.

I absolutely loved this episode! I was getting a little tired of the copy and paste format especially within the second episode. With the filmmakers solely focusing on the Halloween celebration here is just a stroke of genius.

Everyone loves Halloween!

This time sensitive window of 48 hours to get everything prepared had me hooked from start to finish.

We went to companies who were designing giant Halloween decorations for the park to the fireworks and lighting team preparing for a big show.

Jumping back and forward between those guys, inbetween we had dancers learning pre-prepared routines ready for the night and the unbelievable amount of pumpkins needed to dress up the park as all members of staff lent a helping hand to get everything ready for Brick or Treat.

Episode 3 seems to embrace the fun more than the first two episodes as the festive atmosphere seems to inject even more excitement and fun into proceedings. There’s an upbeat attitude throughout and it makes for some easy viewing.

There’s no filler here unlike in the first two episodes we have this one event focus and i’m loving it.

Watching rehearsals of a new show for children inside the hotel and the installation of a giant LEGO spider made the runtime absolutely fly by.

For a split second the show jumped back into old habits as we see mini-land and model-maker Will once again (certainly getting his fair share of screentime I must say) but thankfully it was a very small minute segment as we see some Halloween LEGO figures dotted around various locations within the mini-land attraction.

There’s no focus on drama as much in this episode as even the smallest hiccup is dealt with without the exagerrated tension that was a talking point of the last two episodes.

This Brick or Treat episode really was a treat to watch and with the last episode looming I only wish there were more to watch.
