Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Music Revealed!

The 2024 Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride music has had its musicians revealed by Disney this week as the musical talent the ride has been revealed as New Orleans natives Pj Morton and Terence Blanchard.

The brand new Disneyland Resort in California attraction and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida attraction will both be getting a makeover as the highly-anticipated new attraction Titan’a Bayouh Adventure is set to officially replace both parks version of the iconic Big Splash Mountain.

Both PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard will be producing the music that guests will hear throughout the new attraction.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is inspired by the 2009 animated movie ‘The Princess and the Frog’

Princess Tiana will take us on a journey accompanied by a lyrical love letter track and they will also compose a new original song and new renditions of fan favourite music for the ride.

Morton is a multi-Grammy-winning artist and keyboardist for Maroon 5 whereas Blanchard is a famed jazz trumpeter and composer.

Both well decorated artists with many grammy awards to their name.

Terence also played all of Louis the Alligator’s trumpet parts in The Princess and the Frog movie so coming back to work on this version of the ride is a delight.

Blanchard also voiced Earl the bandleader in the riverboat band for the film.

Anika Noni Rose, who voiced Tiana in the movie will be reprising her role for the attraction along with Jenifer Lewis (Mama Odie) and Michael-Leon Wooley (Louis). 

Disney will also be adding a few new characters to the ride.

New Orleans is a big focus of the brand new ride as Princess Tiana’s hometown so many colourful renderings and concept art pieces were released that give you a hint at the theme you’re going to experience with a Mardi Gras celebration like no other.

Disney imagineers have been visiting New Orleans and Louisiana to research the culture and Mardi Gras celebrations to make the ride special and reflective of the famed city and region.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open late 2024!
