Adam Sandler’s Spaceman movie has received its first look images and teaser trailer today ahead of its 2024 release.

Set to be released on Netflix on the first of March, 2024 Spaceman is director by Johan Renck and is set to star Adam Sandler, Carey Mulligan, Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, with Isabella Rossellini and Paul Dano.
Spaceman tells the story of a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system as Jakub (Adam Sandler) leaves behind a marriage on earth that may not be the same when he returns.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Adam Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late.
Whilst the trailer doesn’t give too much away Spaceman looks to be yet another more serious role for Adam Sandler as he seems to be coming into his own when it comes to dramatic performances.
You only need to watch Uncut Gems to know the incredible talent Adam Sandler has outside of his comedic typecast roles, that film was a gem (excuse the pun) in its own right and had fans eager to see more serious Sandler features in the future.

As you can see from the teaser below, not a lot is revealed ahead of its official trailer release but with the first look stills and the trailer combined we have somewhat of an idea of colour palette as this vibrant and mysterious planet is showcased before our eyes.

Interesting that Channing Tatum is one of the producers of this film, I wonder if he’ll feature?
