Comedy

American Pie Movie

Comedy is always the go-to when it comes to cheering someone up, it’s the antidote to sadness as laughter is the best medicine.

Classics such as The Princess Bride (1987) or Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) will sure to have you belly laughing in no time.

I tend to find the more absurd the comedy the better as my go-to cheer-up movies are American Pie, Road Trip and Scary Movie as they’re films from my younger years that evoke such nostalgic memories for me.

Anything with Kevin Hart in it usually has me belly laughing too but it’s all personal preference isn’t it?!

Slap on an old Leslie Nielsen movie such as Airplane! or The Naked Gun and I’ll be cheered up in no time!

If comedy isn’t your thing then we’ll have to step it up a bit and dive into a wonderful world of animated escapism.
