From the guys behind Terrifier comes a brand new horror movie which is heading to theatres next month, Stream.

Stream combines the producers, directors and star of the Terrifier films for a new-gen style of slasher where the plot reminds me eerily of the one of The Last Showing starring Robert Englund but instead of a cinema which was the location for that particular film, this one is based in a hotel complex.
Locked in with nowhere to run Stream consists of a family trying to survive inside a hotel after they are locked in and murderers are let loose amongst them to compete to be the most creative killer with points awarded for the most creative kills.

The cast is stacked with horror greats including David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown in the Terrifier movies), Jeffrey Combs of Re-Animator fame, Danielle Harris and Tony Todd.
Stream will focus heavily on practical FX over special FX and will have a modernised slasher feel with that old school gore that we know and love.
Michael Leavy said in a statement to Variety:
We have an incredible cast of genre greats who deliver stellar performances, and of course having ‘Terrifier’s’ Damien Leone and Phil Falcone heading the gore FX we made sure we delivered the goods for our incredible fanbase, but something we are most proud of is its story and arching character development.
We have no studio backing, so to put this release in the hands of our fans is something that truly excites us! They came out in droves for ‘Terrifier 2’ and that was so important for its success. So hopefully they will do it again for ‘Stream.’
This way we can show the studios why indie horror is so important for the genre in paving the way for creating new, fresh and original content that we all crave so much nowadays.
The trailer looks well polished with a few odd cuts that give it that air of indie film but for the most part the film looks sleek and stylish with some gnarly kills to match.
A stellar cast line-up put into a plot that seems eerily familiar for those who have seen the Robert Englund cinema horror but one that looks more high-octane in its delivery than the slow build-up of The Last Showing.
Check out the trailer below for the upcoming horror movie Stream and let us know what you think!
