Freddy Kruger is Coming to Birmingham’s Millennium Point

NOES

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Freddy Krueger’s first appearance on our screens Birmingham’s Millennium Point is marking the occasion with a special screening with a brand-new introduction from Robert Englund himself recorded exclusively for the event.

Elm Street Birmingham

Marking the city’s biggest cinema screen Nightmare on Elm Street will be shown on October 26th with tickets priced at £12 for general admission and £10 for students.

The bar is set to open at 7pm with the film starting at 8pm and having the opportunity to see this glorious horror classic on the big screen once again is a wonderful opportunity.

Released in 1984, A Nightmare on Elm Street terrified audiences with its tale of teenagers hunted in their sleep by the sadistic Krueger, played by Englund. Over the years, Freddy has become a horror icon, starring in eight sequels, a TV show, and countless nightmares. To celebrate this milestone, Millennium Point is showing the original film in all its terrifying glory.

Freddy on the Big Screen

Rebecca Delmore, Commercial Director at Birmingham’s Millennium Point said:

We’re absolutely thrilled to be hosting this 40th anniversary screening.

Freddy Krueger is a legend in the horror world, and there’s no better way to celebrate his legacy than by bringing fans together to experience the film that started it all.

It’s going to be a night to remember — we just can’t promise you’ll sleep afterwards!

Auditorium

It’s been a few years since me and Robert worked together on Fear Clinic the movie, it would have been great to have him in attendance. The amount of stories and experiences he has, he should write more than one book that’s for sure. If you haven’t read Hollywood Monster already, then I absolutely recommend that you do so!

The screening is for one night and one night only so make sure to grab your tickets and come and see Freddy Kreuger on the big screen!
