Eli Roth is dropping his craziest horror movie ever (in his own words) as the first poster has been released for Ice Cream Man which will be released in theatres nationwide on August 7th.
The film revolves around a summer town that descends into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results.
Eli claims this to be his ‘craziest movie’ which considering his history of gory horror movies makes this certainly a film to look out for if you’re that way inclined.
Ari Millen (“Orphan Black”) stars along with Benjamin Byron Davis (Red Dead Redemption), Karen Cliche (Thanksgiving), Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Charlie Storey, and Eli Roth.
Eli Roth will direct a script that he co-wrote with frequent collaborator Noah Belson.
Snoop Dogg will also be contributing music to the film along with composer Brandon Roberts.
Expect plenty of prosthetics and practical effects as Oscar winner Adrien Morot (The Whale, Thanksgiving) and Steve Newburn (Frankenstein, Thanksgiving) will be at the helm.
