Take all the action of The Raid and throw it into the confines of a fighting ring and you have Undisputed Fight for Freedom!
Infamous Russian MMA fighter Yuri Boyka (Scott Adkins) returns to the ring this winter to fight for the highest stakes yet. When an accidental death makes Boyka question everything he stands for he must face a gauntlet of challenges in the ruthless world of underground fighting to right his wrongs.

The loosely written story focuses on Boyka (Adkins) who is taking his new found freedom and pursuing his dream of becoming the ultimate fighter. But after the death of his ring opponent he finds himself questioning the decisions he has made in life. Seeking forgiveness from the fighter’s widow he risks his life going back to Russia, only to find himself dragged back into the violent world he tried to escape from.

Whilst MMA fighting films are worldly renown for their stellar scriptwriting I had to take a step back and review this film for what it was. An absolutely savage and bloody affair, no thinking required, if you love fight sequences in your movies then this film pulls no punches and takes you through 90 minutes of punches, knees and insane acrobatic kicks as blood, sweat and spit grace the ring canvas.

I had one hell of a time watching this movie, the fight-scene choreography is breathtaking and whilst there’s no real story as such, who the hell cares. Undisputed Fight for Freedom is just an adrenaline rush of kick-ass entertainment!
Summary
For choreography and sheer brutality alone shot with cinematic perfection Undisputed Fight for Freedom is just an adrenaline rush of kick-ass entertainment!
