Toy Story 4 Carnival Mania Set

Get ready to relive the magic of the carnival with Buzz and Woody’s LEGO Carnival Mania set.

This brand new Toy Story 4 set takes you from a shooting gallery experience to a Terrorantulas rotating ride and bumper cars and finishes with a relaxing sit down at the ice cream shop!

This action-packed play set is specially designed to be fun and easy for preschoolers and smaller children. Well, that’s what the press release said but I had tonnes of fun with this as a 27 year old man! The set is easy to build and looks stunning, the usual vibrant LEGO colours on display make the funfair display stand out from the crowd. Let’s take a look at what’s inside:

Toy Story 4 Terrorantulus Ride

Strap in because you’re about to get dizzy! This spinning ride has little adjustable brackets so you can set your own height and angles. Pop your figures in and spin as fast as you can and pray no one flies out!

Toy Story 4 Shooting Gallery

This little thing had me entertained for ages. Pop the tiny little lego bullets into the cannon, line-up your shots and hit those targets down! Easily the best attraction in the set for me, really fun and enjoyable although the LEGO bullets are very small items to be in a 4+ age-range set.

Toy Story 4 Bumper Cars

Whizz and zoom around the fair with these two bumper cars. Easily assembled in 5 minutes you can just see every kid zooming these around the living room. Hold on to your hat Woody!

Toy Story 4 Ice Cream Stand

After a long day at the fair nothing beats sitting down and having a cool ice cream to end the day. Very colorful and detailed this stand has a lovely retro quirky charm to it and it fits in beautifully with the rest of the attractions.

Overall

Toy Story 4 Carnival

I absolutely loved this LEGO Carnival Mania set. It has a wonderful charm to it and is thoroughly enjoyable for kids (and adults) of all ages. I do think however that the £44.99 price tag is a little steep for what you get. A simple addition of a rollercoaster or ghost train would have made this set worthwhile for me. I’m sure other retailers sell the set for cheaper anyways.

I’ve never really seen a range of LEGO rollercoasters. It would be a cool thing to have. LEGO if you’re reading this, hit me up, I have ideas!
