Located in the Casino Building at Pleasure Beach lies the Pasaje Del Terror Blackpool. A horror walkthrough attraction that has been at the heart of the pleasure beach for more than 20 years. Walk the hallowed hallways and immersive yourself in cinematic horror movie history.

From famous clowns to Freddy Krueger to The Exorcist the walkthrough experience of Pasaje Del Terror is incredibly suspenseful. Myself and a friend went on a quiet day and we actually braved the maze alone. Walking down the dark steps, a loud knock on the door from our guide and we entered the maze.
With over 20 sets to walkthrough with 18 actors hiding amongst the shadows, you’re not sure what is about to pop up from around the corner. Special effects and more are added throughout the experience to make it all the more terrifying. Being a huge horror fan I was walking through extra slow to take in the incredibly detailed sets. I could have stayed in the maze all day just looking at the set design.

One room in particular really impressed me. A museum-style walkthrough containing every pop culture horror icon you can think of. Friday the 13th death scenes were playing on the TV and the whole room looked incredible. Rather than just walking through to the next room I stayed in there and had a look at all the items on display. Creepy clown masks, Silent Hill props and more. It really was a horror nerds paradise. Just as I was inspecting one of the life-size figures it jumped out at me! A little bit of pee came out, I’m not going to lie.

I remember visiting this attraction over 6 years ago and some of the sets (Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm Street) were still standing but I’m not surprised. They are so detailed. Last time I went there was a large group and people behind were almost pushing us forward. Just being the two of us it gave me time to really look at things I never spotted before. When I walked into the Saw bathroom I wanted nothing more than to just shackle myself to the radiator and stay in there all day. Incredible attention to detail!

Intense immersion coupled with great scare actors makes Pasaje Del Terror a must visit attraction in Blackpool. Combined with the Horror Crypt which is only a few doors down you are sure to have a spooky good time in Blackpool!
