In the next episode of Ghost Adventures: Serial Killer Spirits Zak and the crew head to a prison once home of Jake Bird. An axe murderer who cursed those who sent him down and of whom all died within a few months of one another.

Ghost Adventures Serial Killer Spirits

Jake Bird was an American serial killer who operated during the 1940s. Born in 1901, Bird is believed to have committed multiple murders across the United States. He was eventually arrested in 1947 for the brutal slaying of a mother and daughter in Tacoma, Washington. Bird was known for using an axe or hatchet in his crimes.

During his trial, Bird acted as his own attorney and was ultimately convicted and sentenced to death. However, before his execution in 1949, Bird reportedly made a chilling prophecy, suggesting that there would be more deaths in the area attributed to him.

Strangely, a series of accidents and deaths occurred in the vicinity after his execution, leading some to believe in a “Jake Bird hex” or curse.

While Bird’s criminal activities were heinous, his case also gained attention due to the eerie events that followed his death.

Episode 3 – Serial Killer Spirits

This episode was much more toned down compared to the first two but had the most realistic evidence. In our Gacy episode the equipment that fell out of Zak’s pocket was creepy. In this episode really solid audio capture is a central feature. Clear names, screams and more are captured in addition to light anomalies that are difficult to explain.

Jake Bird Prison

Another episode set in a prison thou which was its only downfall. I mean Serial Killer Spirits is only a four part series so there really should be a scenery change per episode. The John Wayne Gacy ep was a prison and now we’re in another one. A little variety would be nice but who am I to judge where spirits hang out.
