DC director Matt Reeves has unveiled the Batmobile for the first time in these brand new images for his upcoming film.
Robert Pattinson Batman Suit and Batmobile Revealed
After Ben Affleck left rather small shoes to fill this next Batman installment has fans with such low expectations that I think we may all be surprised.
Reeves took over the project after Affleck quit and cast Robert Pattison in the role. Scheduled for a 2021 release date The Batman has already started filming and this Batmobile looks pretty badass.
After the reveal of the Robert Pattinson Batman suit a few weeks ago we were genuinely impressed with how cool the costume looks.
In these images released today, we can now we can see the head-to-toe costume (from a distance) and it doesn’t look half bad!
I actually originally missed images of the Batcycle that were posted. I’ve literally only just seen it now and that’s pretty cool too!
The whole piece has a retro feel to it. Rather than a futuristic vehicle or a tank-like structure, this is more Mad Max.
It seems that production has gone with a more edgy design with this adapted muscle car approach.
It has a nice edgy vibe to it which matches the rather unusual and moody tone that the costume reveal and the rest of these particular images set.
We can expect to see a video of the Batmobile in action in a few days.
I would have thought but we get a much better look at everything here.
Matt Reeves certainly isn’t holding his cards close to his chest. He’s posting about the movie like crazy and it’s clear that he’s having a ball on set.
Overall
I’m very much looking forward to seeing Colin Farrell’s Penguin and Paul Dano’s Riddler. It’ll be interesting to see their characters up close and personal so I can draw comparisons to the older characters we all know and love.
