The Noble Collection Jumanji Board game brings a more affordable way to own an iconic movie prop.
Back in 2017, a company released a hand-made Jumanji board game.
Solid wood and resin, hand-sculpted with every fine detail perfectly replicated in this incredible piece.
The handmade version also includes a magnetic system much like the game in the movie!
Whilst I couldn’t find a video of that exact board you can find a hand-made creation that is very similar below:
A piece that allowed fans across the world to fall in love with the movie all over again and having an exact replica of the games’ most iconic prop, well it’s safe to say that fans loved it.
Until they released the price-tag.
With some boards selling for upwards of £1000 it was sadly out of most people’s budgets. You can understand the steep pricing.
The price reflected the craftsmanship that went into creating these pieces but sadly it was too overpriced for something that would just sit in a cabinet or on display somewhere.
Fast forward a few years and replica prop company The Noble Collection has answered our call.
They have scaled down some of the details and produced this more affordable Jumanji replica and it’s not half bad!

Made from an ABS Composite / Mixed Material this full-scale replica of the Jumanji board game comes with instructions and accessories so you’re ready to play.
The box detail is certainly nothing compared to the handcrafted pieces but it’s not terrible either. When you open the Jumanji Board Game that’s when this particular piece comes alive.
Just look at it!
Such wonderful detail including the rules on the side of the board, the infamous green Jumanji jewel in the middle and the replica pieces to get started.
Sadly there is no magnetic system to the game and most of the figures are really cheap plastic. The center screen also doesn’t light up which is disappointing.
I can’t help but click back on the handcrafted version to see how it should be done.
The Noble Collection version is certainly the affordable (if more commercial looking) option.
Custom Upgrade
With the board being newly released it seems that it’s not just me who can see the flaws in the cheaper version.
They’ve done something about it thou. This custom build now has magnetized pieces and an illuminating centerpiece screen and it completely changes the entire prop.

Overall
Retailing for £130 this particular replica still isn’t cheap, it is made of plastic after all.
If you want a detailed, heavy, true to the movie replica of the prop you won’t find it here.
If you’re a modder like the guy above then just implementing a magnetic system and a screen will go a long way.
But for me, until a premium version or an actual wooden version is released that’s more affordable, I guess this one will have to do!
