Adidas The Simpsons McCarten Shoes Inspired By Ned Flanders

Adidas The Simpsons

Adidas The Simpsons shoes are now a thing as the new take on the McCarten is inspired by Springfield’s left-hand man Ned Flanders.

Left Handers Flanders

In an ongoing collaboration, this brand new The Simpsons release is inspired by Ned Flanders and the entire episode is dedicated to him being left-handed and opening The Leftorium.

The Leftorium was a shop dedicated to items for left-handed people and these brand new Adidas Originals McCarten’s are a tribute to one of Springfield’s finest.

Ned quit his job as a pharmaceutical company clerk to open the store but business started off poorly.

The Leftorium quickly went out of business and the bank repossessed the Flanders home.

Homer who originally wished for Flanders to go out of business felt bad about the situation that Ned was in and atoned for his behaviour getting everyone in town to shop at Ned’s store and saving it from bankruptcy.

The Leftorium

The Leftorium continued to be referenced in future The Simpsons episodes until it went out of business for good unable to compete with online shopping.

It was at this point in time where Ned joined Springfield Elementary School as the new fourth-grade teacher.

The Flanders’ sneaker has the colours fitting the gentleman with a green leather panel to match his iconic sweater.

Brown suede also covers the toebox, collar, tongue, heel and mudguard.

With a pop of bright pink for those eye-bleeding shirts, he wears the piece certainly looks the part.

A sneaker that Ned would proudly wear.

Flanders Shoes

The shoes are accompanied by a leather hand-tag and an incredible Leftorium box.

The McCarten is a half loafer, half sneaker blend and was introduced in 2017.

This Adidas and The Simpsons collaboration will be priced at £90 but there has been no release information that has dropped at this point.

I’ve spent some time looking at these shoes and they do actually grow on you over time.

Granted they’ve gone from, will sneakily wear them outdoors at night to being relegated to ‘wear indoor only’ type shoes but still, I do rather like them.
