We’re flying through this wonderful little series as we’re approaching the tail end of this season with our Breaking Dad episode 4 review.

The father and son have reached Slovenia, a country that loves its sport.
Brad’s passion for bikes gives Barney an excuse to take his dad motocross racing, which turns out to be a very slippery challenge.
After hearing that one in 200 people in Slovenia is a beekeeper, they make a stop to meet one, but they won’t be seeing any bees.
Instead, they will be treated to some unusual honey therapies.
Upon reaching the capital city of Ljubljana, things take a magical turn when the pair join Slovenia’s national Quidditch team, followed by a trip towards the mountains in Planica, where they have a go at the notoriously dangerous sport of ski jumping.
Their stay in Slovenia ends with a visit to one of the country’s most spectacular caves.
Motorcross
Our episode kicks off with a nice motocross section where the pair spend more time on the floor than on their bikes.
It’s a nice little bit of father and son bonding seeing them in the RV at the start of every episode but the motorcross segment was absolutely and utterly pointless as they just can’t stay on the bikes whatsoever.
If anything they just keep breaking the bikes and annoying the gentleman who runs the motocross centre.
Certainly not the high-octane segment it should be.
Out of the two, surprisingly Bradley was the better driver having admitted he’d driven a motorbike before only for him to keep falling off.
That introduction was truly awful from the pair of them.
A shockingly poor effort.
Honey Massage
One of the shortest segments on the series so far, Bradley gets a honey massage they try a little drink of honey with chilli in it and the segment ends.
That’s it.
So far this episode isn’t really living up to the rest of the series so far.
It certainly feels as though this is the B-roll episode where left over pieces of footage on the cutting room floor were thrown in here to plug some gaps between the more entertaining stunts and death-defying challenges the pair have faced so far.
Quidditch
Just when I thought this episode couldn’t get any worse they meet the Slovenian national Quidditch team.
Frantically looking for my nimbus 2000 to fly me out of the room and away from this particular episode I carry on.
The best thing was the Quidditch captain openly admitting that not everyone in the team likes Harry Potter and they genuinely treat it as a real spot.
What follows is absolute mayhem that would have Dumbledore hanging his head in shame at the sorry spectacle.
There’s absolutely no one chasing a golden snitch until the very end and it’s like a really weird game that makes no sense until Bradley comes out dressed as Harry Potter.
This was the best part of the entire segment!
Ski-Jumping
Our final segment is certainly a more relaxed end segment in comparison to the other tasks in previous episodes as they attempt to fly down a ski-jump.
After a brutally honest ski resort attendant called Bradley fat straight to his face that set up a real funny segment and a nervy one too.
With an Ambulance on standby they begin their ski jump training.
After being told Bradley can’t do the ski jumping due to being too overweight Bradley ‘the buffalo’ Walsh is sent to the stands to watch his son attempt a ski jump.
He’s one brave lad.
Whilst it was only a little jump Bradley was absolutely bricking it as his son came down that ramp.
As the episode draws to a close it has sadly been the weakest link so far with much more toned down tasks and the episode ending with a picturesque yet once again more toned down finale we get more of a relaxed interlude of the series with hopefully more high-octane content to come!
