In the heart of Manchester lies Primark, a huge multi-storey complex that is home to the Central Perk Manchester Cafe’ and the UK’s first Central Perk Cafe at Primark.

Friends taught us that the best memories are made over coffee with your pals, and now you have the perfect setting!
You will have the chance to step inside our fully themed Central Perk Café where you’ll discover our New York inspired menu and also take a snap a pic on the sofa.
So, pull up a chair, grab your friends, and take a sip of our ethically sourced coffee beans, which are also served in compostable cups as part of our Primark cares initiative! An amazing café, for our amazing Primark friends!
Central Perk Manchester Menu

Being located at Primark you can expect the prices to be very affordable indeed which is surprising given the fact the entire shop is themed around an IP as big as Friends.
When we visited they weren’t serving milkshakes before 12pm so please do keep this in mind when you visit.
From hot drinks to nibbles there’s a little something for everyone but its the cafe itself that is amped up with atmosphere.
Fresh off our recent trip to Friendsfestive in Blackpool we were catapulted back to the magic of Central Perk.
From the iconic couch to New York style decor it’s a lovely environment and whilst its not as detailed as the replica set at Friendsfest, keep in mind this is a real functioning cafe’ that won’t possess all the finer details.
They have the couch, that’s all they needed for me to be happy!
The cafe never feels gimmicky and there has been some serious thought that has gone into making this a practical and memorable coffee shop visit.

Drinks are served in little Central Perk themed coffee cups and just taking a seat and people watching was certainly a fun experience as “I’ll be there for you” was playing on repeat in my head.
There’s a large selection of sandwiches – Joey Tribiani’s favourite – from New York-style pastrami to a BLT along with plenty of baked goods with prices never exceeding £5 for anything.
Outside the shop there are numerous photo ops but throughout the year expect a variety of different additions including Friends merchandise, props shuffled around from indoors to outdoors and more.
When we visited there was a little New York taxi photo op available which was great.
The Cafe’ was very busy when we visited and this was first thing Monday morning and we just managed to get the last seat int he house.
Arrive early and you won’t be disappointed.
A lovely intimate space, a great selection on the menu and could this place BE anymore affordable?!
