Daniel Craig will return as Bond. Well, at least we certainly think so!
Despite general reports, media stories and even Daniel Craig himself confirming he won’t be back we still think there’s a sixth Bond movie to come with Craig in the leading role.
A sixth Bond movie starring Daniel Craig has not been officially confirmed.
The following is solely my own speculation and theories.

Daniel Craig Will Return As Bond after No Time to Die

The media and marketing for No Time To Die had been in full swing until a recent delay set the film’s release back to November this year. A few contradictory stories have been released recently concerning Daniel Craig’s future involvement.
Which ones are we to believe?
Wasn’t SPECTRE Craig’s last movie?

After numerous reports of SPECTRE being Craig’s last movie, Craig came out and told the press in a junket that he’d rather “slit his wrists” than play James Bond again after SPECTRE.
Roll the clocks forward 5 years and No Time to Die starring none other than Daniel Craig will be hitting cinemas this November.
Craig commented that playing James Bond gives him anxiety.
It’s an iconic role and even now he still gets worked up and nervous about playing the role.
A very strong statement in the junket had fans certain SPECTRE would be his last. On Saturday Night Live Craig once again said No Time to Die would officially be his last.
I certainly believe this statement much less this time around.
It’s a calling and when one actor is that suited to a role it’s hard to step out of those shoes. Anxiety may play a strong influence on your ability to continue but he came back and did another movie. I can easily see the same happening again after No Time to Die.
Contrasting News Reports

Before the Coronavirus epidemic pushed the film’s release to November various reports were coming out from a variety of sources all contradicting one another.
One source said that this will indeed be Craig’s last movie as James Bond.
Another report mentioned that Daniel Craig had told the studio to tone down the marketing of the movie as being his last time as James Bond and another news story reported that Daniel Craig will definitely be back after No Time to Die.
With such contrasting information around the topic, it left fans a bit confused. These stories usually come from insider information or reliable sources but it seems the delay of the movie has caused a bit of confusion within the studio, let alone the reports that have been released.
No Time to Die News Story breakdown
Let’s try to make sense of what has been released so far in the media.
Daniel Craig Will Return as 007 after No Time to Die
This was a report that Daniel Craig would absolutely return as James Bond after No Time to Die.
Another story also confirmed that Craig signed on to two movies after SPECTRE. That story hasn’t been reported on for quite some time and has since been lost in the pile of contrasting news stories.
Could this story have been posted to cover up a rumored Daniel Craig death in No Time to Die?
Daniel Craig tells studio to tone down marketing the movie as his ‘last time’
Various reports came out over the last week saying that Daniel Craig didn’t want the film to be marketed so heavily as his last.
Anxiety issues could play a role here as he contemplates another role, maybe?
Daniel Craig will not return as Bond after No Time to Die
Daniel Craig himself came out on Saturday Night Live and told the world he would not return as James Bond after this particular movie. Where have we heard that before?
Coronavirus Delay Playing its Part

It’s said that the Coronavirus delay has set the studio back $50 million. With the movie already in debt, it needs to recoup those funds majorly.
What better way to do this than by announcing that it’s, in fact, Craig’s last outing as James Bond.
Personally, my favorite ever James Bond and certainly a fans favorite too. Marketing a film as Craig’s last would certainly be a good way to recoup those costs.
It was only after SPECTRE was released did Craig say it was his last movie so that was a genuine reaction at that very moment after months of stressful filming.
Knowing how much buzz that caused when Daniel Craig said it, why not say it again? Maybe he completely means it but it’s strange how one-minute reports are coming out saying he wants the studio marketing No Time to Die as his last film to be toned down.
The second the coronavirus delay pushed production for a couple of months, he officially came out and announced it was to be his last one.
Coincidence? Perhaps. But I think it’s just clever marketing.
The film has spent a fortune on marketing a film that isn’t coming out for another 8 months. What better way to keep the hype going without spending a penny? Announcing its Craig’s last Bond movie of course.
8 months without spending a great deal of money, building hype, discussion, and debate.
Overall

I’ve heard so many rumors and stories and it’s hard to choose what to believe.
For me personally, I don’t think No Time to Die will be Daniel Craig’s last.
I think an agreement has been signed for him to star in another movie after No Time to Die.
Using the marketing of it being his last outing as James Bond provides the perfect platform to counteract the lost marketing costs due to the Coronavirus delay.
I may be completely wrong at which point I’ll hold my hands high and admit it but let’s be real here. With Bond movies due every 3-5 years give or take. Where is his replacement?
Why have all these names of potential replacements been announced by the media but not officially from a studio?
Surely the production of Bond movies starts 2-3 years before the film’s release and we’ve heard nothing. Absolutely nothing. No leaks, no rumors, no statements, no official line-ups. Nothing. Only the media’s suggested candidates.
There’s only one James Bond in the eyes of the studio right now for what I believe WILL be his last Bond movie, and that’s the film released after No Time to Die.
And IF No Time to Die is Bond’s last they’ll absolutely end his character with a bang and perhaps do the unthinkable and kill off the first James Bond EVER in the film’s history.
It’s the only way it makes sense as no one can supersede Craig’s performance so there’s no point even trying.
Well, Henry Cavil would do a stellar job!

Miss him to be there and his heart 💜 spirit will stay in my heart forever bec he is the best action bec he strong stay as young forever.
