Dean of the Dead Hot Sauces Bring the Perfect Halloween Heat

Dean of the Dead Hot Sauces

Horror movie inspired Dean of the Dead hot sauces? Erm yeah, we’re down!

Dean of the Dead

Lurking somewhere amongst the darkened chambers of an Enfieldian lair (Enfield being the one-time home to Boris Karloff, and also the world famous Green Street Poltergeist) one can find yours truly.. the nightmarish necromancer – Dean of the Dead – a moonstruck maniac who has spent many tireless hours bringing to life these monstrous elixirs…

That’s quite an intense introduction to a hot sauce website I must say!

Dean of the Dead hot sauces were introduced after attending a chilli festival during 2017.

Combining a passion for horror movies with a passion for hot sauces Dean of the Dead was born.

Not the only combination here as fresh fruit and some of the world’s hottest chilli’s get together to create these wonderfully horror movie inspired sauces.

Now this piece that you’re reading right this very second isn’t a review. Oh no.

This is merely a post discussing some epicly creative hot sauces with a vision to burn my face off in the near future when I purchase the full collection.

From Carolina Repear to Ghost Chilli’s these sauces have it all.

Over the years and various chilli challenges later my heat tolerence is still all over the place. I can eat a good five or six carolina reaper wings and have a little sniffle and then be absolutely face melted by the mildest of Bombay Bad Boy pot noodles but one thing that i’ve never experienced is a hot sauce with actual heat!

So i’m very interested in seeing how this devilish bunch of sauces treat me.

Dean of the Dead Hot Sauce Range

Let’s take a look at the full range of Dead of the Dead hot sauces currently available on their website.

Let’s get the weakest bunch out of the way before we move to the bit hitters shall we?

Sawce

Based on the popular Saw franchise this mild sauce consists of green jalapeño pepper with the juice of fresh apples, As well as a carefully selected mixture of herbs and spices.

I certainly think a film as prestigious as Saw deserves better than the mildest sauce that the company offer but if it tastes bad at least i’ll be rushing to the shed to Saw my tongue off in disgust.

Jokes aside, i’m sure it’s lovely.

 The Texas Chainsauce Massacre

Consisting of Chipotle Peppers The Texas Chainsaw Massacre comes in at a 2 chilli heat rating.

Is that a plastic chainsaw I see you weilding there Leatherface?

Let’s step it up a bit shall we?

Texas Chainsauce Massacre

A Nagamare On Elm Street

This sauce definitely looks to be jumping up to whole new levels as this 3-chilli heat rated sauce consists of blended Naga Ghost Chilli’s.

If this is only a 3 on the chilli scale then maybe I underestimated the heat of the previous two as that’s quite the leap!

The sauce clocks in at over 855,000-1,041,427 on the scoville scale (a scale used to measure the heat of chillies) they’ve also thrown in some Scotch Bonents and Birds-Eye Chillies along with Peaches, Mango and Pineapple.

That definitely sounds like a very sweet sauce that will leave quite the afterburn!

An Americayenne Werewolf in London

Clocking in another 3-chilli heat sauce is An Americayenne Werewolf in London as this sauce contains sweet tropical fruit and red-pepper cayenne sauce.

I have to be honest, this one certainly sounds much less tame than Nagamare on Elm Street yet they’re rated on the same scale.

Does it get hotter in the moonlight?

We shall have to wait and find out.

Parascoville Activity

Jumping straight into the ‘time to write a will’ level of hot sauces we have Parascoville Activity.

Combining handfuls of fresh sumptuous Blueberries, fresh Orange juice and Lime with Scotch Bonnets and Ghost Bhut Jolokia’s.

A sauce so hot you’ll be seeing dead people in no time!

Jeepers Reapers

An IBS inducing combination of Carolina Reapers (over 200 times hotter than a Jalapeño) Scotch Bonnets and Jalapeños with succulent fresh strawberry and lime Jeepers reapers sounds like a Kopperberg that will kick your ass!

Rated 5 on the chilli scale this one should come with a warning label!

The Exsaucist

You’ll be definitely floating out of your bed with this CBD infused hot sauce as The Exsaucist will have your head on a swivel with it’s insane combination of ingredients.

The sauce consists of white Pear & pineapples with Carolina Reaper, Ghost Pepper, Bullet Chilli, Scotch Bonnets & Finger Chillis.

Get the local preist on speedial because things are going to go south immediately!

Dean of the Dead Sauces Overall

What a wonderful list of hot sauces that Dean of the Dead has with creative names only matched by the sauces creative ingrediants.

Combining fruit with chilli will give the sauces such a beautiful taste as I know for sure Carolina Reapears on their own don’t taste all that great so the fruit will certainly help.

After seeing such a wonderful range of hot sauces and with Halloween just around the corner I think i’ll be heading on over to Dean of the Dead and getting myself the full collection.

Stay tuned for a saliva inducing review in the weeks to come!
