Doctober Halloween is here and the official Dr Disrespect costume has dropped and we managed to get our hands on one!
In full disclosure I only found out about Dr Disrespect a few months ago as a friend of mine watches doc’s videos religiously.
Laughing at the thought of seeing a buddy of mine in Doc’s trademark mullet, moustache and tactical vest he placed the order.
A few weeks elapsed and the costume arrived and by god, it kinda suited him, as weird as that sounds!
It’s for that very reason why I’ve added him as the thumbnail for this very article.
So the costume itself is a very high quality replica of Doc’s attire and at the moment of typing this has completely sold out.
The costume is brought by Doc’s fans who then have to take an epic picture that Doc will judge and send out a large prize packet to the lucky winner.
So let’s take a look at the costume shall we?
Dr Disrespect Costume
Now sold out the costume was priced at $59.99 and that’s not badly priced compared to most good quality costumes.
I remember a Pennywise costume we were sent last year was around double the cost of this costume and the quality of Doc’s costume is definitely better that’s for sure!
Costume Set Includes:
Metal Butterfly Comb
Made from a study metal this moustache comb brings the swagger and tactical knowhow to keep that poisonous caterpillar in shape.
Red Tactical Vest w/ Velcro Logo Patch
Aside from the iconic mullet it’s safe to say the tactical vest is right up there with the most recognisable piece of attire that doc wears.
This particular vest comes with a removable velcro Dr.D logo so you can promote or not promote.
The decision is yours for when you enter the arena.
Prototype Scopes (Sunglasses)
Violence, Speed, Momentum.
With all three you need eye protection and these babies will do just that.
Be careful, be safe, be aware.
I was quite surprised how study these glasses were although I have no idea how doc can game in them.
The screen was an yellow hazy mess for me!
Headset (non-functional)
These sturdy headphones certainly complete the costume as the ultimate accessory but it’s a shame that they don’t work.
Say goodbye to playing video games wearing these bad boys.
Either way they’re built rather nicely and look the part.
I also heard from another customer that there are replacement parts even though the costumes have now fully sold out.
This person in question emailed the Champions Club website and they arranged a replacement item immediately.
Fantastic customer service!
Poisonous Caterpillar (Moustache)
Becareful with this moustache and use it wisely because the stickiness wears off quickly!
Pick your moments before you wear this caterpillar and make every second count!
Steel Mullet (Wig)
Last but certainly not least is the trademark mullet.
The finishing touch on the perfect replica costume.
Overall
One hell of a costume and at an affordable price too.
Want to cosplay as a Twitch gaming streamer superstar?
This is your time.
Doc knows his audience and this latest line of Dr Disrespect merch really is a great way to get his fans on board the hypetrain.
Perfect for doc fans young and old and whilst it’s not a Halloween costume in any sense of the word the competition that Doc puts on certainly has his fans hooked around this time of year.
Best of luck out there champions!
