I’m a sucker for a good marketing campaign and this Dracula marketing billboard has certainly made its mark.

I remember last May when marketing posters were designed for Fox’s The Passage that looked normal during the nighttime but disintegrated when the sun came up. I thought what a genius idea. It turns out the marketing idea was a hell of a lot better than the show itself!

The brand new Dracula series originally on BBC One but now on Netflix in the states has gone one further and created something very cool indeed.

BBC created a billboard that looks like random stakes positioned on a poster. The caption reads “In case of vampires, break glass.” It’s only when the sun goes down do we see the true effect of the poster.

How cool is this?!

As a whole, I really enjoyed this series. The first two episodes were breathtaking. A gothic noir with such stellar performances but then a torrid third episode leaves a rather sour taste to finish the season. Audiences were in agreement as the ending was certainly a lot to be desired.
