Fans Troll Official Star Wars Page For Hilarious Prequel Blunder

Star Wars

Rey

A head in hands moment of epic proportions today as the official Star Wars Facebook page made a huge prequel post error. It’s a good job I posted an image above from Return of the Jedi to compliment this tongue-in-cheek article (wink, wink).

Official Star Wars Page

The official Star Wars page took 90 minutes to remove the post but don’t worry. We managed to capture it in all of its embarrassing glory.

Star Wars Facebook blunder

To the untrained eye, you’d think nothing more of this post. Three stills that look incredible. That part is agreed. What the problem is thou however is that each of the 3 images are labelled under the wrong movie. Awkward.

Star Wars fan Craig Hewitt was one of the first to call them out on their error. The Episode 1 image is actually from Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. The Episode 2 image is actually a still from Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. Last but not least the Episode 3 image is actually from Episode 2: Attack of the Clones.

Star Wars Blunder

Nevermind the prequels thou we have The Mandalorian which is bringing back some of the faith for me at least! It’s been many years since Star Wars has been even remotely watchable in my eyes.

In other Star Wars news…

As news from Kenobi was released yesterday with Jar Jar Binks set to return. Maybe this severely underrated character could win over people once and for all. There is so much hate from fans within the Star Wars universe. It’s toxic and quite frankly appalling how grown men (and women) can act over a movie and this was evident when it came to Jar Jar Binks. I hope he returns, rocking the rumoured beard and tells the fans to shove it up his Gungan asscheeks.

Just my two cents.
