Fragrance Samples UK is an online store that offers the opportunity to purchase much smaller quantities of fragrances to try before you buy.
Many of these fragrances you will not find on the high street and consist of the higher priced to niche fragrance market.
If you have the cash to splash but don’t want to make a blind purchase or if you’re simply curious as to what these luxurious scents smell like that Fragrance Samples UK is certainly my favoured option.
This Christmas I’ve dived into the world of fragrances and stumbled across the website. Suddenly I was given the option to try such a wide range of fragrances from Creed Aventus (£175 for 50ml) all the way up to the ultimate £2500 a bottle Roja Parfums Haute Luxe for a fraction of the cost.
All of the fragrances are the real deal but being the skeptical soul that I am I purchased the real Creed Aventus and real Creed Silver Mountain Water from the official Creed website to test against the Fragrance Samples UK vials and they were indeed identical and authentic.
I was going to make the Creed purchases anyways so purchasing smaller samples of each to give providence to this review seemed logical.
Fragrance Samples UK stock a large variety of perfumes. Fragrances ranging from very affordable ‘Designers’ up to the very high-end ‘Niche’.
Rather than wasting a lot of money on a fragrance you don’t like you’ll simply lose a few pounds.
Take a 1ml sample of Creed Aventus for example, it’s certainly more of a popular fragrance than a luxury high-end fragrance nowadays but this costs £4.18 (at the time of writing this article) on the site for a 1ML sample.
Now keep in mind that even 1ML is roughly around 7-8 sprays (on average) so if used wisely could be at least a full week of fragrance of Aventus for £4.18 a whole £170.82 difference between taking the dive and buying a full bottle.
There are numerous decants (the art of transferring the fragrance from the original bottle to a smaller atomiser) available from 1ml up to even 20ml in some cases.
Aventus peaks at 10ml for 20ml which is a solid 2 months of fragrance (if not more) for a fraction of the cost.
Naturally the rarer and more expensive the fragrance is, the more the amount charged.
Keep in mind the atomisers that you are sent don’t come in fancy boxes or anything of the sort. They’re simply plastic sprayers that come in velvet pouches. You’re sacrificing visual aesthetic for a sample of a luxury fragrance. Here is what you’ll receive per ML ordered.
I dived in with a 3ml sample of Roja Parfums Haute Luxe which cost £69, which is easily higher than many high-street brands full sized bottles. Regardless, I was too curious as to what the most expensive and luxurious fragrance on their website smelled like and my god it was beautiful! Fragrance samples are perfect if you want a high-end fragrance for a special occasion but you don’t want to invest in a full bottle, maybe you have one special night planned and you want to smell a million dollars without spending as much or maybe you want to buy a whole range of samples and indulge in a luxury.
But be warned, it gets addictive.
All in all my Fragrance Samples UK review is a positive one. After my initial haul of fragrance samples I’ve gone on to purchase even more. I started with 4 and now I have over 10 including:
