I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is back again tonight as Vernon, Beverley and Jordan take part in tonight’s trial, Frights of the Round Table.
The public voted for Vernon, Beverley and Jordan to take part in tonight’s Trial – Frights Of The Round Table.
It doesn’t take long before the trio tuck into their questionable dishes.
ITV have released a sneak preview of tonight’s episode where Vernon eats a deer’s testicle.
I’d certainly wait until you’ve had your dinner before you check this one out!
Find out how Vernon, Beverley and Jordan do in tonight’s Frights Of The Round trial by tuning into In this clip tonight’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! at 9.15 pm on ITV.
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2020 Episode 3 Review
So you’ve seen the teaser above that ITV posted early Tuesday morning and now we get down to the full show.
Prepare your gag reflex and that’s before the eating challenge has even started as Shane Ritchie gets a little queasy with the task of changing the waste from the toilet.
It’s in episode three where we are introduced to the castle coin challenge for the first time!
What is the Castle Coin Challenge?
The Castle Coin Challenge is 2020’s version of the Dingo Dollar Challenge.
The challenges remain the same but the currency and the Kiosk Keith segment have both been replaced.
Wave goodbye to the Dingo Dollar Challenge as Giovanna and Hollie absolutely fly through a challenge of lowering balls into celebrity mouths (don’t ask) and take a trip to the revamped Outback Shack now known as the Ye Olde Shoppe where they are greeted by Kiosk Kev’s long distanced cousin Kiosk Cledwyn.
Given a choice between Welsh Cakes and Twiglets they both rather quickly decide on Welsh Cakes and the castle telegraph rings for the first time.
In what I thought would have been the easiest question in I’m A Celebrity history to answer the group, (and myself) got it wrong.
The question revolved around how many people in the UK talk about the weather at least once a day.
EVERYONE talks about the weather in this country and the group went with the higher % answer and it was wrong.
Who on earth did they survey, Australians?!
The 2020 I’m A Celeb Eating Trial Begins
With team morale still high in the shows early days Beverley, Jordan and Vernon head to the trial area.
A beautifully themed dungeon dining room complete with scattered fake cobwebs absolutely everywhere as the eating trial has slightly been switched up this season.
Each celebrity will face a minimum of two dishes but could face six maximum if the odds went against them with four extra meals to be dispersed amongst the group thereafter.
What I did find strange was Beverley’s challenge was toned down somewhat because she is a Vegan.
Surely she should have been ruled out of this challenge in order to keep it fair to the challenge as a whole and other contestants but that’s just me.
Up first was a sheep’s brain that Vernon Kay must snack on as he only needs to eat half to get the star.
Gag reflex prepared. In we go.
Half a sheep’s brain down as Vernon made that look rather easy and Beverley was ready to tuck into a nice vomit fruit.
I feel as though my previous comment about the challenge being fair disappeared ever so slightly during Beverley’s meal as the size of the vomit fruit she had was ridiculously large but at the same time, it’s no sheep brain, goat’s eye or deer’s testicle is it?
Jordan throws caution to the wind and starts chewing on a goat’s eye and three meals down the celebrities have handled this way too easily.
Let’s step it up a bit shall we?
Now that everyone has had a dish, the table is then spun with a sword pointer on the table that will point to a celebrity in question to eat the next meal.
That person was Vernon and he had to stomach a cow’s teat which looked like a very chewy piece of gristle and the table was spun once again.
Jordan, you’re up.
Jordan’s meal of the evening was Medieval Spew which is fermented catfish where he had to drink the whole bowl and downed it in one with a few gags thereafter.
Another table spin later and Vernon is tasked with the aforementioned deer’s testicle that was shown in the teaser video that we posted earlier in this article.
Gag worthy and after one failed attempt Vernon went for round two and smashed it.
Beverley is given three fermented plumbs to eat and compared to Vernon’s and Jordan’s meals it seems a little easy in comparison I have to be honest.
This is coming from someone who has eaten a tarantula and a fermented egg and the tarantula was by far the most disgusting of the two!
Jordan then tucks into a sheep’s penis for his next course and the eating challenge is once again living up to its gross and hilarious reputation.
Beverley now tucks into her third dish (which I’m happy about as it evens up the challenge a bit) she is now presented with fermented tofu where she has to finish 5 slices and with a steely determination she knocks it out of the park!
The smell alone made Vernon and Jordan grateful that there’s weren’t as pungent in scent as Beverley’s dish.
The last spin of the table builds up the anticipation as it eventually lands on Jordan for the final course of the challenge.
A cows tongue.
Jordan without hesitation throws it his mouth and after struggling more than the previous dishes still manages to get it down in record time.
10 stars for camp and once again the entire group will be eating well tonight!
Well, that was until they were served quail and garlic for the evening.
Not exactly a nice cheeseburger is it?
But I always find garlic can make absolutely anything taste better!
Once this segment had finished Ant and Dec come into camp to let the group know that there will be no public voting trial for tomorrow.
Instead, the group are informed of a new trial called ‘Stage Fright’ that will involve all 10 campmates (or so they think) and rather than dreading it they all jump for joy and start hugging each other!
Rather than the 10 campmates doing the challenge though however two new campmates will be added into the mix consisting of Opera Singer Russell Watson and West End Legend Ruthie Henshall.
Let the games begin!
