It’s that time of year again where we get to celebrate all things Frozen for a month. Elsa and Anna dolls and dresses flying off the shelves for Christmas presents this year.
Everyone sings the songs over and over again until they’re stuck in your head. I had my little niece sing ‘Let It Go’ so much I ended up getting it stuck in my head.
4DX invited me on down to watch Frozen 2. I had no one free to bring with me, everyone was busy or working so I did the first thing that popped into my tiny head…
Frozen 2 4DX Review

After having grossed $127 million it was inevitable that a sequel would follow. 4DX takes the world of Elsa and Anna and brings the magic into the auditorium with perfectly choreographed sequences.
Every time Elsa weaves her magic strobe lights in the theatre light up, a character in the movie is a ghostly presence and the wind blows through your hair whenever it appears.
A tornado hits the gang and suddenly the fans go full throttle blowing my hair all over the place. With Frozen having such a large focus on magic, spells and atmospherics it certainly is the best 4DX experience I’ve had so far.
Everything was ramped up to 11 and really made the film more enjoyable for someone like me who isn’t too keen on these kinds of movies.
“Impressive technology mixed with incredible animation equals one hell of a cinematic experience”
With that said thou however I was impressed with Frozen 2 as a whole. The plot is so simple that i’m pretty sure it was pitched on a napkin but the film is so visibly beautiful that script and plot don’t matter. It’s a spectacle. Certainly not on the same page as the original but a worthy sequel. Josh Gad as Olaf had me literally laughing out loud in the theatre.
He is absolutely hilarious and is easily the star of the show for me! I’m eagerly awaiting every scene that he’s in, when he’s funny, he’s hilarious and when he’s serious the tone drops instantly.
The voice acting in this movie drives home emotions that are rare in any animation. Acting that transcends through the animation and hits you in the heart. A stellar cast line-up truly delivered in this department regardless of how amateruistic the script feels.

The 4DX addition gave me chills, my seat going along with the beat of every musical track. I was swept up in the magic once again of Disney 4DX.
These pair are a match made in heaven and I’ll be first in line to watch any future Disney 4DX movie, they just get it. They know exactly how to manipulate the technology to provide the most immersive experience for their audience. Truly magical.

Summary
A fun filled adventure enhanced with the 4DX tech that fully immerses you into the mystique, the magic and the wonder that is Frozen 2. Perfect for children and adults alike. The film alone is a solid 4 stars but with the 4DX Disney experience it’s a 5 all day!
