Get the Home Alone 25th Anniversary Collection This Holiday Season

Home Alone is 30 years old, can you believe that? Nick Clement gets to grip with the Home Alone 25th Anniversary collection set which is a nostalgic treat that you must get this holiday season!

Home Alone 25th Anniversary Collection

We’re all about setting cinematic standards every day in the Clement house with our Family Matinee Screening Series, and yesterday, MOM POWER selected this ultimate holiday classic for Owen to see for the first time…

It goes without saying that it was a BIG treat for the little guy, who delighted in all of the comedic mayhem and slapstick violence.

He  also seemed to really connect with the story (we didn’t hear ANY noise for an extended period of time – how refreshing!!!), while asking some hilarious questions about the narrative at key moments.

This film really is a pisser from start to finish, with every actor nailing their moments when they had the chance, but DAMN, Macaulay Culkin was just effortlessly brilliant in this movie, and it’s rare that a kid-actor can hold an entire movie on their shoulders the way he did here.

The pacing is also remarkable, and there’s not an ounce of fat on this film’s structural bones.

It blows the mind to think about how many air-tight classics Chris Columbus has his name on, to say nothing of John Hughes.

I WOULDN’T LET YOU SLEEP IN MY ROOM IF YOU WERE GROWING ON MY ASS POWER!

Currently streaming on Disney+ and also available on Blu/DVD and via various streaming providers.

If you want to go all out there’s also a special Home Alone Collector’s Edition that comes in a custom paint tin that’s well worth purchasing!

The collector’s edition (in addition to the above anniversary edition) was released 5 years ago now but my god it’s still a great little set!

The set includes more than 2 hours of special features, collectible ornament, fake spider, Battle Plan and Wanted posters!
