Coming off the franchise’s 35th anniversary we have a new British documentary all about the infamous films. CLEANIN’ UP THE TOWN: Remembering Ghostbusters is heading for UK cinemas on 7th January 2020.
Directed by Anthony and Claire Bueno, this tag-team family duo pays a fitting tribute to the creative team behind the films. A little look at the magic of Ghostbusters and why the franchise is still relevant to this day.
CLEANIN’ UP THE TOWN: Remembering Ghostbusters, is the definitive retrospective documentary, resulting from twelve years of research and production. It charts the making of the original 1984 Ghostbusters. Featuring interviews with director Ivan Reitman, and lead cast Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson.
The documentary also explores the world of visual effects with interviews from SPFX artists such as Steve Johnson. A man who worked absolute wonders with our very own Fear Clinic.

This comprehensive documentary is both fan service and a film lovers paradise. These inside stories from this ghost busting flick are sure to whet any film lover’s appetite. Also included within the documentary is never before seen archive material from members of the creative team themselves.
Cleanin’ Up The Town; Remembering Ghostbusters has VOD release on 27th January from Kew Media Distribution. The DVD/ Blu-ray release will include the extended two-hour version of the film and is expected to be available in March from Screenbound.
