Following popular demand Godzilla Minus One is getting expanded to over 400 cinemas in the UK and Ireland as part of an increased theatrical release on IMAX, ScreenX and 4DX screens from 15th December 2023.

Earning over $25 million in its first 10 days of release Godzilla Minus One became the all-time highest grossing Japanese live-action film in North America.
The film has been certified fresh with 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and has received rave reviews including Jack Bottomley of Starburst Magazine calling GODZILLA MINUS ONE “a thunderous, profound, and exciting cinema experience that is absolutely not to be missed!”.
Seventy years Godzilla has been on our screens and this latest film is said to be the most terrifying incarnation of the character yet!
The film is written and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki. Inspired by formative experiences with STAR WARS and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, Yamazaki has become a leading figure in Japan’s visual effects industry, and has won multiple awards for bringing Japan’s pop culture icons to the big screen, with films including Stand By Me Doraemon, Lupin III: The First and The Great War of Archimedes.
