Sometimes, we all need a full day of watching movies, eating our favourite snacks and not caring about the dramas of the outside world.
It can be a planned day, with a fridge full of your favourite drinks and snacks. Or, completely unplanned, where you ring your boss at 8am explaining how you’ve got the worst headache recorded in history and then do a full roundup of snacks and drink before sitting down to watch your favourite movies back to back only stopping for bathroom breaks.

You can now throw a full movie marathon day without stepping foot out of your bed! The TV Bed Store have a range of awesome beds with a hideaway tv that pops at the push of a button.
There is even room to store your games consoles and connect them up underneath the bed. Our favourite is the Annecy bed, packed with Sub-Woofers and surround sound included, turning your bed into a private theatre.
Top Tops for The Perfect Home Movie Day
- Comfort. I think you’ve ticked that one off for the fact you’re still in bed, but don’t be afraid to stock pile the pillows for armrests, head rests, and general comfort.
- Snacks. Make sure you have enough snacks to last you the day, remember that variety is important and after your 5th chocolate bar you probably want something with a different flavour. Popcorn is always a must at some point during the day, after all, this is a movie day! Make sure you get some proper food in though so you don’t have a sugar crash and genuinely have to call in sick the next day at work.
- A good list of movies!
Lets take a look at the most popular films on Netflix in 2019 and plan the day from there! Start the morning with Wreck-It Ralph 2 before moving on to Murder Mystery.
Appreciate the warmth from under your covers whilst watching The Revenant, as Leonardo DiCaprio fights for his life in the harsh winters of the American wilderness.

As the night draws in, you might want to grab your pillow and make sure your feet don’t leave the cover as you switch over to some spine-chilling horrors. At least you’ll be in the safest place, right?
Try The Autopsy of Jane Doe for a jumpy and tense horror, streaming on Netflix now. Or if you don’t want to be awake all-night staring into the shadows, you could try a more relaxed and slightly comedic, Happy Death Day.
And there you have it, a full day of not leaving your bed whilst conquering a movie marathon. Something you’ve dreamt about doing since you were a child, and something you need in your life as an adult.
