After an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign Trick or Treat Studios raised the funds needed to bring a full 1:1 Child’s Play 2 Chucky doll replica to life.
Developed by Garrett Zima this officially licensed doll is the most screen accurate product ever produced. T
he doll itself is made from actual screen used molds including the clothing which was replicated using screen used swatches.
Just looking at this doll brings back some insanely fond memories and the attention to detail from head to toe on this piece is unrivaled.
This is without a doubt the best looking Chucky doll on the market today and what an incredible job has been done behind the scenes from all those involved.
Chucky Doll Construction

The body of the doll is made from Polyoxymethylene thermoplastic connectors (big words eh?) and is surrounded by a soft flexible foam allowing you to position the doll into a variety of poses.
The doll is very easy to move with full arms, legs, hands, feet and back articulation.
Chucky is also incredibly well presented in a Good Guys Box made from the screen used box art.
No detail has been spared in the making of this doll and it’s an absolute pleasure to just be in the presence of one for the purpose of this review!
Clothing

From what appears to be a hand knitted sweater the clothing materials feel high-quality indeed.
The clothes themselves wouldn’t look out of place hanging on a rack at a local clothing store.
They’re very high quality, feel thick to the touch and even the Good Guys details on the bottom of the shoes really showcase every incredible detail of this doll.
Chucky certainly isn’t a toy but rather a work of art and complete with its box makes for an incredible display piece in anyone’s horror collection.
Overall

Whilst Chucky’s hair needs a little bit of styling to recreate the original Child’s Play 2 look the rest of the doll is just perfection personified.
The doll itself has a really nice weight to it and no corners have been cut in making the final product.
With this particular doll being a limited first batch run of 1750 it’s safe to say the prices will soar for these as the months/years roll by.
For those of you who wish to pimp up your Chucky doll, there are a variety of accessories available on the Trick or Treat Studios website for you to browse.
I want to express a huge thank you to the guys over at Trick or Treat Studios for allowing me to review the best damn Chucky doll replica on the market today!
