Take a Look Inside Escape IT in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has been on my hit list for many years now with such a wide of attractions to sink your teeth into but as a horror fan there’s certainly one attraction that intrigues me and that’s Escape IT.

Escape IT is an IT themed escape room experience that catapults guests straight into the horror movie offering two multi-room adventures across 30,000 square feet.

Yes, 30,000 square feet, which is absolutely insane in scale as fans will walk through Derry as the story of Pennywise will come to life before their very eyes.

Thanks to Escape IT we have a whole variety of sneak peek shots to share with you taking you inside one of the most themed escape rooms we’ve ever seen!

Escape IT also features a little museum consisting of screen-used props and costumes along with a merchandise shop selling all things Pennywise that are exclusive to Escape IT only.

From the Losers’ Clubhouse to the Neibolt House and the sewers guests can experience incredible theming on an epic scale mixed with a variety of puzzles, roaming actors and more.

Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment worked with Egan Escape Productions on this particular experience which consists of 20 interactive rooms.

Egan Escape Productions also partnered with Lionsgate to deliver a Blair Witch escape room and the official Saw Escape: Las Vegas experience which launched back in 2018.

All of these experiences have been noted as some of the most immersive and themed escape room experiences in the world and Escape IT is no different.

With the trip to Las Vegas currently alluding me until a lovely company invites us out there to review things I must live vicariously through YouTube to check out these incredible experiences.

Up steps GrimmLifeCollective, an incredible horror-based YouTube channel who were given access inside Escape IT to showcase all of the incredible theming that the attraction possesses.

Theming is something that Egan Escape Productions prides itself upon and it could certainly give Hollywood set-build departments a run for their money.

Each room has been beautifully crafted to the highest standard and I’ve never seen anything like it.

This attraction must have cost an absolute fortune and with things of this size, I can’t wrap my head around how on earth they can make any profit.

30,000 square feet with the amount spent on it to look as good as this, I just can’t wrap my head around how long it would take for the company to break even let alone make a profit!

But what we do have is one of the most detailed escape rooms I’ve ever seen and this walkaround kindly provided by grimmlifecollective never spoils the experience but merely stops and allows us to take it all in and appreciate the level of craftsmanship that the room possesses.

If something looks THAT good on camera then I can only imagine what it looks like in person.

Escape IT is a completely immersive experience on a scale I’ve never experienced before and already there are now many escape rooms (Blair Witch, Saw, IT) in Vegas that I’m just dying to sink my teeth into.

Escape IT has an original chapter escape room and an IT Chapter Two addition that opened late 2023.

The second part of the escape room is inspired by New Line Cinema’s “IT Chapter Two,” the terrifying sequel to the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

Escape IT is located off Symphony Parkway and Martin Luther King Blvd. in Las Vegas, signs of significant landmarks from the films will immediately welcome guests and transport them to the town of Derry. S

This thrilling experience reimagines iconic scenes from the second film, with various “easter eggs” and nods to the first film and first escape experience. The lobby area is also home to a multitude of props from the actual set, such as the bikes the children rode in the film and the letter from Stanley featured at the end of the film, as well as the authentic Pennywise costume.
