Only available from Chessington World of Adventures theme park (not online) this Jumanji Jaguar Shrine resin is one of the most detailed resins we’ve seen at any UK resort.
Many resins usually lack in the detailing department but when working with something as iconic as the Jaguar shrine from the Jumanji movie (2017) detailing is key.
The branches weaving around this beautifully created shrine certainly look the part, it would add ambience to any shelf or display.
Having the resin exclusive to purchase within the theme park only is a little sneaky to get people through the door but if you’re going to Chessington I’d expect you to be visiting for the rides and the zoo and not to pick up a resin, that’s for sure!
Themed around the Jumanji Mandrill Mayhem rollercoaster located within the newly opened in 2023 World of Jumanji the designers have excluded the coaster track that weaves around the shrine.
For me, that’s a strange decision as usually resins represent the ride (with track) in some way shape or form but the shrine certainly stands out regardless as a key feature of the area towering above absolutely everything.
It’s a real showstopper and certainly makes the Jumanji area as special as it is.
Its towering structure and intricate design evoke a sense of anticipation and excitement. Themed after the vibrant and energetic mandrill monkeys, the coaster’s vibrant colours and detailed theming immediately immerse riders into a wild jungle adventure.
Upon boarding the coaster, riders are greeted with comfortable seating and secure restraints, ensuring a safe yet thrilling experience.
Mandrill Mayhem is a ride that is fun for all the family, it’s fun, fast and has an inversion which may just be your (or your child’s) very first inverting rollercoaster.
Detail was paramount in the creation of the ride and it’s great that movie fans can own their very own Jaguar Shrine and not just theme park fans.
That’s the joy of creating IP-themed rides because they attract not only the coaster fans but also the movie or game fans upon which those IPs are based.
