What is the Storyline of Velocicoaster?
The idea is that you’re in a containment unit where raptors have escaped and it’s your mission to gather up the raptors before their hurt anyone.
With various pieces of terrain to weave in and out of the coaster will be hunting these raptors down and you’ll be helped along by Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), and Dr. Henry Wu (BD Wong).
How Scary is Velocicoaster?
Velocicoaster is a long ride with a track length of 4700 feet and is located above water as it weaves in and out of the theming.
With an insane top hat section, four inversions and a 360-degree barrel roll in addition to a zero-gravity inverted stall it’s definitely going to make for one heart-pumping experience.
Just looking at that 155 foot top hat is absolute insanity.
If that wasn’t enough the riders will only have a lap bar holding them into their seats giving your body more movement and motion through each of the intense inversions and layout.
This is going to be a beast of a coaster and all of the hype surrounding it is absolutely justified.

What Is Velocicoaster Like?
In terms of an Intamin Blitz on this level of theming, it could easily be compared to Taron at Phantasialand in Germany with structured rockwork making the speed of the coaster feel tenfold.
Foliage has also been added in numerous places so over time the landscape will grow with luscious trees and plants creating even more of that Jurassic Park vibe and feel that we all know and love.
Has Velocicoaster Testing Begun?
It has indeed and as of January 2021 Velocicoaster has been testing with human passengers meaning the ride is close to being ready to be cleared to open to the general public.
