A completely live action interactive UK Sci-Fi thriller is to be released next month. A film where you can decide the outcome of the story
The First Live-Action Interactive Sci-Fi Film
It was announced that The Complex is on its way to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on March 31st.
A film remenicent of Black Mirror’s Bandersnatch this live interactive sci-fi film will be one of only a few in existence.
Directed by Paul Raschid (White Chamber) and starring Michelle Mylett, Kate Dickie, Al Weaver and Twitch streamer Leah Viathan.
The film will offer multi-optional storytelling with 8 different outcomes. The film will include a Relationship Status Tracking that influences the story as you play.
In addition, a real-time Personality Trait Tracking evolves based on the choices that you make.
Relationship Tracking
Throughout the story you will interact with characters. Your choices will strengthen or weaken your relationship with the characters. The scores are calculated and certain scenarios will pan out depending on your choices and your choices alone.
Personality Tracking
A personality tracking system is also working in the background. At the end of the story you are rewarded with a Personality Score which will breakdown how you played the game / film.
Openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism will all be judged. Which of those will your character play?
The Story
After a major bio-weapon attack on London, two scientists find themselves in a locked-down laboratory with time, and air, running out.
With choose-your-own adventure style gameplay, your actions and your relationship with other characters will lead you to one of eight suspenseful endings.
Having treated the victims of a chemical attack in the totalitarian state of Kindar, Dr Amy Tenant (Michelle Mylett) is a leader in the advancement of Nanocell Technology.
Now, in London, news breaks of a blood-vomiting civilian whose identity is far from coincidental. Reunited with an old friend, Amy is trapped in an impenetrable HQ of laboratories. A womb of scientific advancement with a perilous secret.
