DISNEY+ original documentary series Into The Unknown: Making Frozen 2 will be releasing June 26th.

Premiering globally this six-part series will see filmmakers, artists, songwriters and cast open the doors to cameras to reveal the heart work, dedications and long hours that go into creating one of Disney’s most anticipated sequels.
Step behind the curtain of Walt Disney Animation Studios for the first time in this Frozen 2 documentary.
Capture an eye-opening (and sometimes jaw-dropping) view of the challenges and breakthroughs, artwork, complexity and creativity that went into creating the number one animated feature of all time.
The series follows director/writer/chief creative officer Jennifer Lee, director Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho, songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, actors Kristen Bell (“Anna”), Idina Menzel (“Elsa”), Josh Gad (“Olaf”), Jonathan Groff (“Kristoff”), Sterling K. Brown (“Lieutenant Mattias”), Evan Rachel Wood (“Iduna”) and the talented artists and technicians of Disney Animation as they race against time to finish the film, with both creative breakthroughs and frustrations along the way.

This isn’t the first look behind the curtain series that Disney+ has released. Currently, on the platform there are a number of shows taking us behind the magical Disney curtain.
Two shows that stand out for me personally are The Imagineering Story and Prop Culture.
The Imagineering Story takes viewers behind the magic of Disney parks, from ride design to art, planning, construction and more. If you’re a theme park fan it’s well worth a watch!
If you’re a movie buff then step back in time with Prop Culture as you go into the Disney archives in search of Hollywood Treasures. Iconic props, costumes and artwork from some of Disney’s most iconic films.
Disney+ is proving a dedicated streaming service for home movies and shows. Everything from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more.
