After years of the children getting all the fun goodies in Mcdonald’s Happy Meals, it’s time for the adults to enjoy a slice of the fun as a McDonald’s adult Happy Meal is coming to celebrate the release of A Minecraft Movie due to be released on April 4.
These Minecraft-themed food options will. come with six unique, collectable toys and big kids around the world rejoice!
Don’t worry kids, there are 12 figurines for you to collect too in your own Happy Meals but KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OUR TOYS!
From Wednesday, March 26, you can tuck into a Big Mac, nine McNuggets, or four Veggie Dippers, complete with a side, a soft drink, and a Minecraft toy. There are 6 toys to collect including blocky versions of Grimace, Hamburglar, and Birdie the Early Bird.
I haven’t been this happy since they started giving away Pokemon cards in McDonalds meals!
Fans are invited to join in with the fun as with each physical figure comes with a matching card and scannable code that unlocks a special Minecraft in-game skin.
Fans who redeem points via the McDonald’s app will get an additional code to reveal an exclusive Add-On pack in Minecraft for more gameable enhancements and rools.
In addition, every Happy Meal (left) also comes with a scannable code with access to a digital game where players can complete their very own quest in a McDonald’s-inspired A Minecraft Movie world.
McDonald’s are also launching a new Minecraft-themed sauce inspired by the Nether, a land where lava is more common than water. The sauce will be a limited edition Nether Flame hot sauce containing crushed red pepper and flaming cayenne with a hint of garlic.
A Minecraft Movie Meal will cost £8.19. Menu item pricing is set by each restaurant and may vary nationwide.
A Minecraft Movie Meal is served from 11am. Extra charge applies for Coca-Cola Classic and drink upgrades.
Speaking about the adult meal launch, Ben Fox, senior vice president chief marketing officer at McDonald’s UK and Ireland said:

‘This partnership has allowed us to bring amazing collectibles, crafted for adults, to the UK for the first-time ever!
‘We can’t wait for fans to meet their favourite McDonaldsland characters in blockified form, and to experience the new products which have been inspired by the A Minecraft Movie universe – Nether Sauce and Apple Cake McFlurry.’
