Party like there’s no tomorrow with Ravers movie!

The blissfully violent and drug-addled horror set in the shady underground of illegal raves!

Ravers horror movie

Ravers revolves around a group of clubbers who descend on an abandoned warehouse for a night of twisted techno and hedonistic drug-taking.

The fun ends abruptly as the illegal rave takes a blood-stained turn for the worse when the whacked-out partygoers discover a case of energy drink Renergize.

Little do they know, the experimental drink caused a factory worker to butcher his colleagues months earlier and soon the party descends into violent carnage.

Becky (Georgia Hirst), a germaphobic journalist who must overcome her crippling-fear of gore and grime to make it out of the party alive…

With a stellar soundtrack of techno and drum ’n’ bass from big-hitters such Maceo Plex, Noisia, Jeff Mills and Black Sun Empire Ravers is sure to impress.

Music from underground heroes Katharsys and DAVE The Drummer will also turn the tempo up considerably.

Ravers looks to be a banging combination of sick beats and even sicker bloodshed. Prepare to be clubbed to death.

Starring: Georgia Hirst (Vikings), Eve Connolly (Vikings, Into the Badlands), Natasha Henstridge (Species, Ghosts of Mars) and Danny Kirrane (Poldark, Wasted). Written and directed by Bernhard Pucher.

The trailer has an iZombie feel to it where a substance causes a zombie-like outbreak.

Being a rave-horror movie you know the soundtrack has got to be good. Nothing says rave horror like a kick-ass soundtrack.

I hope the film goes even deeper into exploring how as a society we follow like sheep.

All in our little bubbles of ignorance in clubs dancing away. Drinking anything we’re given under some false pretense of peer pressure.

It would be nice for a horror movie to explore social culture in a little more depth.

I hope Ravers does just that.

Hopefully, it’s not just a simplistic teens drink some dodgy liquid and kill one another type storyline.

Ravers is out on Digital Download March 16 so we won’t have to wait much longer to find out!
