
After 26 years out of the spotlight actor Rick Moranis is set to return to the big screen in the upcoming Disney reboot of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

Rick Moranis Set For A Big Screen Return

According to The Hollywood Reporter the upcoming movie titled ‘Shrunk’ will star Josh Gad.
With the addition of Rick Moranis the reboot has already shot up in value. Staying true to the original and seeing Rick back on the big screen is a big deal indeed.
Rick isn’t the only original team member returning. Director Joe Johnson is also returning to the seat.
Wayne Szalinski and David Hoberman are producing with Todd Rosenberg is writing the script.
Both sequels went straight to DVD but the original will always remain a firm fan favourite.
Rick Moranis was no stranger to comedy. Starring in films such as Ghostbusters and Spaceballs before taking a break from action.
His last live-action film was 1994’s Little Giants.
What will the New Film Be About?

In this upcoming reboot the film will see Josh Gad playing Wayne Szalinski’s grown-up son.
He follows in his father’s footsteps by becoming a scientist and you guessed it. Shrinking his own children. By accident.
The studio has long since wanted a reboot of this classic. A big theatrical release. The works.
Currently thou the movie is still in very early stages and a green light has not yet been given.
With the film picking up a head of steam with many fans old and new looking forward to seeing Rick back on the big screen.
We may just see this movie sooner rather than later!
