The first Road House poster has been revealed today by Amazon, showing Jake Gyllenhaal for the first time ahead of the films release on March 21.

In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.
The upcoming Prime Video movie is a reboot helmed by action director Doug Liman. The movie poster already is packed full of winks and nods to the original movie which starred Patrick Swayze and was released in 1989.
What has been described as a ‘playful reimagining’ of the old movie had Jake Gyllenhaal himself step into the Octagon during a live UFC 285 event in Las Vegas where he took part in a staged bout within the Octagon against UFC veteran Jay Hieron.
Road House is also set to star former UFC champion Conor McGregor in his debut film role which should be very interesting indeed.
I’m sure if he played his unusual arrogant bravado self (I’m sure he only does it for the cameras) I’m sure he’ll absolutely smash his debut film role.
The film also stars Daniela Melchior (Fast X) as Ellie, Joaquim de Almedia (Fast Five) as Sheriff Black with Billy Magnussen (Into the Woods), Lukas Gage (The White Lotus), Darren Barnett (Never Have I Ever), and Beau Knapp (Death Wish) in various roles.
It’s great to see Beau Knapp’s name in the cast list as we actually worked on a film together many moons ago called What Lola Wants.
Great actor, terrible movie.
Don’t watch it.
The easter eggs on the poster include a reference to the 89 movie with a line of graffiti that reads For a “Great Buick Call 555-7617.”
A list of 3 simple rules is also a wink and nod to the original movie as well as Bigfoot #7 which refers to the mosnter truck that destroys a car shop in the original.
The double deuce logo is also a subtle nod to the bar from the original movie also.
