Where is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Gas Station located?
The Gas Station is located at 1073 SH 304, Bastrop, Texas 78602.
Defining a horror icon was the 1974 movie slasher The Texas Chainsaw Massacre directed by Tobe Hooper.

A movie about 5 friends who run out of gas on the way to their grandfather’s house who are hunted and tortured by a chainsaw wielding killer and his family.
From a humble $140,000 budget the movie went on to make over $30 million dollars and has spawned sequels and reboots ever since.

The gas station from the original movie still stands to this day and back in 2019 the owners turned the location into a horror destination for fans worldwide.
Many fans flocked to the gas station between the transformation but now not only does it sell various horror movie merchandise but it also serves up barbecue food to match.

There certainly wouldn’t be much sleeping going on that’s for sure.
New Ownership

The current owners brought the gas station in 2016 and have revamped the entire place.
Autographed cast photos, posters, figures and T-Shirts are also available at the store.
One cool little item to own if you’re a huge fan is a piece of the gas station itself.
Original pieces of wood are being sold along with a certificate of authenticity for those die hard fans who want to own a piece of movie history.

The Gas Station manager told KVUE back in 2019:
We want to make sure that everybody that comes out has a good time and not just freakin’ out or anything like that… If you’re a fan of the movie to begin with, then coming out and actually getting to be in a place where it was, it really heightens it for you.
