Dropping in 2021, a remake no one was expected (or wanting) we have this Texas Chainsaw Massacre Reboot poster to share with you today.

This upcoming reboot/direct sequel is being brought to us by Chris Thomas Devlin and Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead Reboot, Don’t Breathe).
A brand new official website has been set up which you can visit at texaschainsaw.com.
The site features a motion poster as well as a Call of Duty calling card as part of the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre skin release.
Featuring a new-look Leatherface this motion poster reveals the poster tagline message that is identical to the one read at the intro of the 1974 original movie.
Tejanro director David Blue Garcia will helm the film and it will exclusively focus on Leatherface himself.
Currently, the cast includes Elsie Fisher Sarah Yarkin, Mark Burnham, Moe Dunford, Olwen Fouéré, Alice Krige, Jacob Latimore, Nell Hudson, Sam Douglas, and William Hope.
The verdict is most definitely out on this one as Hollywood keeps rehashing our horror icons and the public lap it up like lambs being lured to the slaughter.
Time and time again we’re fed remake after remake of genuinely wonderful original movies and we’re mostly served up a slop sandwich.
Whilst you do get the odd remakes of sheer brilliance it’s certainly a rare event indeed.
With the talented team onboard the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is certainly in good hands but we’ve been here before.
My skeptical mind means I’m not too bothered or excited about this movie so I’ll keep expectations low.
If I walk into the cinema and I absolutely love it then it’ll be a pleasant surprise.
Until then, I’ll be continuing to watch the independent horror movies who dare to stray away from remakes and the constant reboots and array of poorly produced content.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will be returning in 2021 although an official release date has yet to be confirmed.
