The Force Awakens From Its Nap short film review

May the 4th be with you all as we bring you our Disney Plus The Force Awakens From Its Nap review.

The Force Awakens From Its Nap review

In a daycare far, far away… but still in Springfield, Maggie is on an epic quest for her stolen pacifier.

Her adventure brings her face-to-face with young Padawans, Sith Lords, familiar droids, Rebel scum, and an ultimate battle against the dark side, in this original short celebrating the Star Wars galaxy.

Placed in Star Wars daycare alongside baby wookies and an army of BB8, Maggie Simpson must face her toughest enemy as an extendable dummy meets a sith lightsaber in an hilariously charming short to celebrate May the 4th.

With enough nostalgia crammed into 3 minutes to make it better than the actual Force Awakens movie (it doesn’t take much) The Force Awakens From Its Nap  has that Simpsons charm we all know and love as once again Maggie becomes the star of yet another endearing short film.

Even stranger is the ending as rarely within the Star Wars / Simpsons universe do we have our very own Avengers Infinity War / Swordfish ending.

Only 3 minutes in length it’s nice to see May the 4th being so heavily promoted across Disney Plus with other such programmes and celebrations to mark the day.

In addition to The Force Awakens From Its Nap there are two bundles of virtual artwork for fans and not to mention ongoing episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch to watch.

Star Wars The Bad Batch May 4th

The Bad batch synopsis reads as follows:

The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War.

Members of Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

Our Rating

Summary

Maggie Simpson takes just 3 minutes of runtime to craft a more nostalgic, endearing and engaging short than the entire duration of The Force Awakens. May the 4th be with you all.
