Already sold out worldwide we take a look at the beautiful The Mummy Book of the Living Collector’s Edition in all of its glory.
After the successful release of the Book of the Dead edition it was only logical that The Book of the Living would be on its way.
Released in late 2019 by EverythingBlu this 4k steelbook / Blu Ray set was limited and numbered. The 4K set was limited to 850 copies and the Blu Ray set was limited to 650 copies.
What’s Included in the Book of the Dead Collector’s Edition?
The set contained The Mummy Trilogy including The Mummy / The Mummy Returns / The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. All three movies came in equisitive steelbooks with unique Egyptian designs on the front.
But that’s no the best thing about this limited edition set.
All three movies are housed in a beautiful genuine leather Book of the Living case. Using real wood on the top and bottom to look like pages the set is beautifully designed with detailed embossing and de-bossing combined.
The interior of the housing contains dividers that prevent the steelbooks from rubbing against one another causing damage. A handy feature that many steelbook enthusiasts enjoyed seeing.

Whilst not a big fan personally of the last Mummy movie (Tomb of the Dragon Emperor) I was obsessed with the first two.
When the original film came out it was that one film that would always scare me. Being 8 years old I should have known better.
I’d already seen Bad Boys and American Pie by then! I guess it took a little longer for me to numb to horror movies.
The 4K set was initially priced at £74.99 with the rarer Blu Ray set priced at £67.99.
You can still pick up this beautiful set on ebay but with the sets being sold out expect to pay double and sometimes even triple the initial cost value.
The Mummy Book of the Living Collector’s Edition is truly wonderful collectors item. A set that will hold value and maybe even increase in value in the years to come.
