Nick Clement brings us his thoughts on this new series taking social media by storm. Here’s his The Offer TV series review.

This was overwhelmingly entertaining and one of the most purely enjoyable TV shows I’ve seen in a long time.
Similar to other items where fact and fiction are blended, I don’t care in the slightest what was “real” or “fabricated” – this show was based on one man’s memories (legendary Al Ruddy POWER), none of us on Facebook were there to see any of it going down in real time, so enough with the nonsense about every filmed entertainment having to have the fidelity of a documentary.
Atomic Matthew Goode and Miles Teller POWER – they were a terrific duo and I wish we were getting another season where production on The Longest Yard (and then Matilda…) would have been explored.
Everyone in the deep cast delivered the goods (huge Burn Gorman POWER) and the production values were beautiful to observe. But the biggest thing that this show did was communicate the passion and joy (and frustrations) that comes with making major motion pictures – there’s so much love for the medium being displayed here that it was hard not to have a smile on my face for the entire length of each episode.
Give me that Michael Tolkin POWER – he’s just an amazingly talented storyteller.
The Offer TV series is currently streaming on Paramount+
