Surprisingly I actually rather enjoyed this! Here’s my The Osbournes Want To Believe review.
Jack shows Ozzy and Sharon of videos of unexplained events to see if they believe in aliens and various superstitions.
Jack Osbourne sits down with his parents Sharon and Ozzy in their home theatre to go over various clips of paranormal and unexplained nature as he gets his parents thoughts on the various pieces of footage shown.
That’s the general idea behind The Osbournes Want To Believe.
Injected with Ozzy’s dry humour and Sharon’s ludicrous comments I rather enjoyed this particular series.
Once you’ve finished every episode though you realise that Ozzy repeats himself quite often and Sharon is either acting dumb for the camera or was very tired shooting the series as some of her comments are perplexing.
Sharon Osbourne always comes across as a smart and educated woman in every other piece of television I’ve seen her in but in this particular show some of her comments do make me stretch my head in disbelief and I’m far from smart myself!
Someone was definitely a few coffee’s short when filming this particular show.
As far as the clips go the evidence that Jack shows them is very hit and miss.
Some clips you see and you can easily tell that something has been faked or there could be another reasonable explanation behind them but others really do make you wonder.
What did seem to get old real quick was the constant showing of lights in the sky footage.
There must have been more of these clips than any other in Jack’s selection and just seeing lights in the sky over and over was incredibly dull.
Seeing it over and over in various episodes just made me feel as though Jack had ran out of decent footage to show them.
As always Ozzy steals the show if albeit wanting to ‘sell tickets’ to every single paranormal event he deems is worthy of making a quick buck from.
Whilst no-one clip is analysed in any particular depth it’s just easy, breezy viewing with a few chuckles and a few surprises along the way.
Shooting during a pandemic Sharon and Ozzy’s home is certainly big enough to accommodate a set.
The whole show is recorded inside the couple’s home theatre which is insane.
You only need to watch Kevin Hart’s latest comedy special, filmed inside his living room which is the size of a Hollywood comedy club to know that these damn celebrities make too much damn money!
I do love how people have gotten creative during lockdown with their content.
We had Zak Bagans lock himself inside his Haunted Museum for two weeks for a show, Kevin’s special, this show and numerous other unique ways of delivering content to fans.
To me that’s inspiring and no amount of Sharon’s murmurings or Ozzy’s grunts will deter me from the sheer creativity of each show.
Whilst it doesn’t seem like anyone’s trying too hard I rather enjoyed that.
Instead of forced acting up for the cameras we had a family living scenario almost in Gogglebox style as they dived into the world of the paranormal.
I read another review that absolutely slated this show from start to finish and I just wasn’t having it.
It’s an easy watch.
If you love your paranormal footage then you welcome the Osbournes comments and opinions and with each clip, they had to rank out of 10 how scary that particular clip was.
Almost every single time I always gave the same personal score as Ozzy or Sharon.
Out of every single episode, there’s only about two or three HOLY S**T clips but they’re well worth a watch.
The Osbournes Want to Believe may not be winning any TV awards anytime soon but it’s a decent watch and worth your time if you have an hour or two to kill now and again.

Summary
Disengage your brain and sit down with The Osbournes as they go over various pieces of paranormal footage.
Whilst it didn’t make me a believer it was still well worth the watch for me all the same.
I like watching the show because I like the Osbournes but I haven’t seen anything that can’t be explained in my opinion. I like Jack but man he is gullible! Any shots with doors opening etc can be faked with fishline. Some videos can be altered in an editing program too. Orbs…I can’t believe why anyone thinks they’re spirits etc. It’s either floating dust or insects close to the camera lens etc. I so far have never been convinced of spirits but still hoping there is a spirit world. As a kid I had some weird experiences but I also think that your brain can produce visual and/or auditory things in your brain like when we dream etc. Those electronic devices being relied on lately have many other explanations than spiritual. My opinion!
