Brace yourselves. These Rubber Gorilla Horror masks are the stuff of nightmares!

After attending For the Love of Horror last year I’ve been keeping a close watch over Rubber Gorilla, a UK mask-making company specializing in horror masks of insane detail.
Created by Neal Harvey these original, collectors quality latex Halloween masks are handmade to insane standards. Each mask is meticulously hand-painted and finished with care and attention.
All of the masks sold at Rubber Gorilla come with eyes painted and glossed and have viewing slits above the eyes in the dark crease. This is a great way to hide your eyes when wearing the mask and is perfect for displaying.
Not only does Neal make full head masks but face masks too (think Jason’s hockey mask but worse). These masks come with plastic buckles and those infamous metal o-rings.
Rubber Gorilla Horror Masks Collection
Without further ado let’s take a look at my absolute favorite creations from Rubber Gorilla.
Executioner

This dirty, weathered full head latex mask is giving me some serious Jay Weinberg (Drummer for Slipknot) vibes.
Made from synthetic fur and black synthetic hair this is certainly a mask you’d want in your collection.
Skin Mask

Channel your inner Leatherface with this skin mask. With perfect visibility and adjustable straps at the back, this is the perfect party mask. Easy to remove whenever you need to and very breathable.
Gooch The Tormenter

This lace-up mask is truly terrifying. A cross between a skull and a gimp mask the creep factor on this one reaches earth-shattering levels!
Marauder Dystopian Mask

When the Purge arrives you can’t go far from with this epic latex face mask. A more simple mask than the ones above but easy to remove and whilst it’s very open, just look at it. The craftsmanship is sublime!
Hockey Mask

Certainly, a mask to channel your inner Jason Vorhees this hockey mask killer inspired mask comes complete with adjustable straps.
Hamble

This redheaded doll is captivating for all the darkest reasons. Every time I walked past my monitor during this article I could swear her eyes were following me!
Scary Rabbit

If you want your next Halloween costume to be a rotting, rancid hare then look no further. This mummified effect mask comes with a strap and buckles for adjustment and has a design that conceals your eyes very well indeed.
Bollo

So simple, so scary. Bollo has to be the perfect Halloween mask. Designed with this eerie simplicity to it but still so creepy. So void of feeling and emotion and I can see a staredown with someone wearing this to be a very intimidating one indeed.
Overall

I bow down to you Neal Harvey, these pieces aren’t just your run-of-the-mill Halloween masks that you wear once and then disregard until next year.
These pieces are genuine works of art that you would proudly display.
Hours of painstaking dedication and talent has gone into crafting each and every one of these masks.
They’re really something special.
