Two brand new Universal Orlando hotels have been announced this week ahead of the opening of the brand new Epic Universe theme park set for a Summer 2025 unveiling.
Both hotels will focus on exploration of galaxies unknown, quite fitting for an entire theme park themed around universes.
Universal says Epic Universe will be its most immersive and innovative theme park but further details surrounding the park have yet to be revealed.
We do however have information about the two brand new accommodations set to be built as part of the expansion and the hotels look as though they may be open before the new themed land itself.
Let’s take a look at the resorts shall we?
Universal Stella Nova Hotel
The hotel is set for a January 21st opening date and is inspired by the infinite vastness of the unknown universe, where galaxies spiral ever outwards and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.
Universal Stella Nova Resort is where you’ll take off for amazing adventures at Universal Orlando Resort. Enjoy a variety of food and beverage options, a massive spa pool, interactive splash pad, lake views and more.
Early park admission is included in your stay at Stella Nova but no prices (that I can find) have been listed on this particular hotel page as of yet whereas Terra Luna already has prices listed ($134 a night based on a 7-night stay + tax).
Universal Stella Nova Resort will be located adjacent to the future site of the new Universal Epic Universe theme park, which will open at a later date in 2025. Universal Orlando’s current theme parks and Universal CityWalk will be accessible from the new hotels via convenient and complimentary shuttles.
I love the simplicity in the design that naturally gives it a futuristic feel, especially in the reception area but concept images of the bedrooms haven’t this stage been released (that I can find) unlike the Universal Terra Luna hotel.
Universal Terra Luna Hotel
Universal’s Terra Luna hotel is set to open on February 25th, 2025 and represents another world in Universal Orlando Resort accommodations.
Another space themed hotel that is inspired by the thrill of exploring the unknown more details have been revealed around Terra Luna which is usual considering this hotel will be opening one month later than Stella Nova.
This brand-new resort is much more than your launchpad into amazing adventures at the parks; it’s also your landing zone for relaxation and recharging between the fun. Explore a new way to stay at Universal Orlando.

Instantly I’m getting scaled back vibes of Disney’s Starcruiser Hotel but already way more affordable and much less of a failure.
Instead of the eye-watering Starcruiser cost per night this room is a lovely $134 a night based on a 7 night stay + taxes.
You can even upgrade to a pool view standard room to enjoy views of the expansive resort-style pool.
