Wondering what to watch during isolation? Fear not! We check out the wonderful Veboli movie service.

Launching on May 15th Veboli will make choosing films all the easier for us. With such an abundance of films on streaming services it’s proving difficult to settle on one movie and watch it.
There’s so much content that for indecisive people like myself it proves to be tricky to make a decision on one film or show. I need guidance.
Veboli is here to help!
From studio to independent film Veboli helps movie fans to see what films they’d most enjoy on their streaming services and the ones they should stay clear of.
The smart system does this by allowing you to rate a selection of movies. Similar to how you would rate a movie on IMDB on a scale of 0-10 you enter your choices.
Once the system has enough data the algorithm will pick various choices of movies that would suit your taste in line with the ratings you have given.
Veboli is linked to your personal recommendations to what’s on Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, Netflix, Now TV, and Sky Go.
The company is also expanding to more countries in the coming months but the UK and Ireland have the pleasure of Veboli access instantly on May 15th!
With me being the skeptic that I am, I can’t wrap my head around a computer instantly knowing my taste in movies from a few select options.
To test this theory I set up an account and tried it out for myself.

Set Up An Account

After entering your information you’re all set up and read to go. It’s a quick, breezy setup form and you’re straight into the rating section.
-
Rate Well Known movies

Now we begin the second step of rating some well known movies so the system can get a feel for what movies you like and don’t like.
For the case of this review I’ve gone through animations, a few action movies and a few horror movies and the system will pick similar titles that would be of interest to me depending on my choices.

My Recommendations

Once the form was completed I was given a list of reccommended movies.
The more you add to the system the more it learns about your tastes.
I only filled in mainly animations and a few action movies and my recommendations were mostly animated films. In addition to the blockbuster titles above.
Some films in the list I’ve never seen and some films I’ve seen and thoroughly enjoyed so as far as animations go it’s chosen some good titles here.
With the system still being new I’m noticing that some images are missing from the title list. I’m sure this is an early site issue easily rectified when the system launches May 15th. When you click on an individual title you can check out the film information and watch a trailer.
This will give you a better idea or not if you decide to check it out.
Overall

The system does include such features as the best rated movies that are on the platform. The latest and greatest and consistently updated titles that you must see based off user ratings.
Also if you hit the reccommendations button at the top of the page you can choose a streaming platform and it will suggest movies suited to you that you should watch.
I felt as thou the website was a little simplistic in design but it’s early days. There’s quite a lot to explore within the site and with 3 menus at the top navigations is a little more complicated than it needs to be. But that’s just my thoughts, i’m a simple guy, I like simple things!
What would be nice is a button on the system to allow you to tick off films you haven’t seen. It would be nice to be shown movies you haven’t seen and just ticking off films you have seen to be added to an ‘already seen’ list makes sense. I say this because I had quite a few repeat titles creeping up in my reccomendations. It would be nice to remove them to leave content that I haven’t viewed left.
As a whole Veboli takes some of the work off your hands when deciding what film to watch. With isolation taking over our days let Veboli take a little strain off that brain of yours! Allow Veboli to pick a movie you’re sure to enjoy!
Thank you to Veboli for sponsoring this post. All opinions above are my own and haven’t been affected or influenced in anyway shape or form. We keep our opinions authentic here as you know and will forever to do so for as long as we’re still around!
