Warner Bros Studio Tour Gets Friends Fountain & Joker Costume Added

Friends Fountain

Warner Bros Water Tower

The already incredible Warner Brothers Studio Tour in Hollywood is forever expanding and adding new goodies and photo opportunities.

The studio has stepped it up even further with the addition of the infamous Friends fountain photo-op and the Joaquin Phoenix screen worn Joker costume!

Joker

The studio already has the original Friends cafe’ set and sofa from the last few seasons installed for photo ops. When I last visited that was the highlight of my trip!

Since then the studio has expanded to incorporate various other sets including Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory. Film additions include a Batman museum and more!

Now the Friends fountain has been added to a photo-op as part of the tour.

The Joker costume is just icing on the cake. Proudly celebrated after Joaquin Phoenix won every single Best Actor award all season! Fully deserved too.

What’s On The Tour?

Warner Bros Studio Tour Hollywood

I went a few years ago and I know the tour has had many additions since but a drive around the Warner backlot on the standard tour will take a good 2 hours. You also get 1 hour for photo-ops and looking around the museum.

No two tours are the same. I saw numerous celebrities on the day I went but there’s no guarantee you will see the same.

We also got a peek behind the scenes of the art department who were working on statues for The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies.

Standard tour price – $69-$72 per adult

Deluxe Tour

Batman Tumbler

Once I did the deluxe tour it made the standard tour feel almost pointless. If you can afford this VIP experience you will have the time of your life.

I’ve never experienced anything like it.

This six-hour tour will allow you to visit costume, sound and property departments of the studio. All-access and if that’s not enough you get to eat in the commissary dining room.

This dining room is where execs and stars have their lunch and business meetings.

We saw the head of Warner Bros when we were there and a few Big Bang Theory cast members were having some dinner on the table next to us!

The chef came out personally and took everyone’s orders. It was all very posh and sophisticated until I tucked into my burger and dripped red sauce all down my T-Shirt.

You can take the boy out of Stoke but not Stoke out of the boy!

Sean Evans Warner Bros Studio Tour

It really is something truly special.

Once again every tour was different. I remember going into a theatre and the normal tour left and we stayed behind to hold a real Oscar award and have photos. Just that in itself was that little VIP perk with much more to come along the way.

If you can afford spending $295-$299 on a tour then its well worth it. You will have memories to last a lifetime and just that exclusive feeling is incredible.

Worth every single penny for a movie nerd like me.
