McDonalds Friends Meal is coming to the UK, another Adult Happy Meal exclusive… could I BE anymore excited?!
It has been teased this week by McDonalds that a Friends collaboration is finally coming to the UK as the meal has been available as promotions across Europe and Australia but it seems like the UK is finally getting to soak up all of that Friends show goodness with this upcoming release.
Warner Bros and McDonalds have confirmed the collaboration and the internet went into meltdown.
Could we be receiving the same mini figures as the other Friends promotion or will we be getting something extra special?
The Friends Meal originally launched in Spain back in October 2024 as part of the show’s 30th anniversary so what would be the reason that we get the promotion now I wonder?
Minifigures of all the main cast come in a lovely themed box along with other limited edition options such as Monica’s Marinara which was a limited edition sauce that was used throughout the collab that could be purchased, it was a tomato marinara sauce that was herby in its design.
Limited-edition figurines of Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross are all available to collect and other packaging such as the McCafe cups and share boxes will all be redesigned with a New York Friends twist.
When the meal was available in Spain it cost £7.96 but with that being two years ago I imagine that to be closer to £10 now.
Limited edition merchandise will also be available to win on the McDonald’s app and all of this will begin on February 3rd so there isn’t too long to wait!
There’s also murmurings of a Pokemon collaboration sometime this year as part of the franchises 30th anniversary but nothing has been released regarding that coming to the UK as of yet.
All of the Friends collab additions summarised are as follows:
- Limited‑edition dip called Monica’s Marinara, which will come with the 9 McNuggets Friends Meal
- Chicken Sharebox and Chicken McNuggets Sharebox which have both had a makeover, featuring Joey and the iconic New York skyline…even though Joey doesn’t share food
- The McCafé cups have also had a makeover, with the iconic Central Perk sofa featured
- The MyMcDonald’s APP will also be launching in-app exclusives and competitions offering the chance to win limited‑edition Friends merch
- Pizza Mozarella Dippers
- Donut Crumb Latte
- Toffee Latte
