McDonald’s certainly know how to do a promotion and whilst the entire country is waiting with baited breath for an anniversary selection of Pokemon cards the fast food giants have decided to plug the gap and make their own range of McDonald’s Cards celebrating all things McDonald’s here in the UK.
Hot off the recently popular FRIENDS collaboration in conjunction with Warner Bros we now have 24 iconic cards (and one special chase card) to collect with this latest launch.
The promotion marks the return of Ronald McDonald immortalised in chase card form but not just that, customers can win prizes as part of this fun little collectible card game. Yes, the special Ronald card (only 10 in circulation) will grant the holder of the card access to £10,000!
From Tuesday March 17th McDonald’s UK customers can get their hands on the cards which will feature brand characters, McDonald’s icons and fan-favourite menu times.
The brand is keeping a few cards close to its chest but the nostalgic of card collecting will never die and it just makes me want to go out and grab a McDonald’s or two and see what the card collection entails.
The best thing about this promotion is that every pack of cards guarantees one ‘Character Card’, which earns you a free food item.
